Apple’s System Status page confirms an ongoing Apple Music outage that is making the service unavailable or slow for some users. Here are the details.
According to Apple’s System Status page, an Apple Music outage has been affecting users since 4:59 p.m. ET.
The status page says that “some users are affected,” adding that “the service may be unavailable or slow for some users.” The company has not provided additional details about the root cause of the outage or how widespread the issue may be.
Today’s disruption follows a separate problem earlier in the day that impacted the iTunes Store, which experienced issues between 7:00 a.m. ET and 2:15 p.m. ET before being resolved.
Apple has not shared an estimated timeline for a fix. We’ll keep an eye on the situation and update this post if the outage is resolved or if Apple provides any new information.
