Apple today unveiled a suite of new accessibility features coming with iOS 27, visionOS 27, and more later this year.
As part of that announcement, Apple also said a popular iPhone accessory that sold out quickly at launch is making a comeback.
Last November, Apple announced the Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand as part of its celebration of 40 years of accessibility. The grip was created by Los Angeles-based artist and industrial designer Bailey Hikawa.
The accessory, however, was only available directly from Apple and sold out in just a few days.
Apple now says the Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone is once again available. You can order it worldwide from the Apple Store online. Thanks to a collaboration between Hikawa and PopSockets, this marks the first time the accessory has been available worldwide.
The Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone was designed with accessibility in mind. It’s meant to accommodate the varying ways people hold an iPhone while reducing the effort needed to keep the phone steady. It features a soft-touch feel and is made from premium silicone.
As the name suggests, it also doubles as a stand that supports your iPhone in both vertical and horizontal orientations. It attaches to the back of your iPhone using MagSafe.

The Hikawa Grip & Stand is a MagSafe compatible adaptive accessory for iPhone designed by Bailey Hikawa. Informed by direct input from individuals with disabilities affecting muscle strength, dexterity, and hand control, this ergonomic grip was designed with accessibility in mind from the ground up. The grip uses magnets to securely snap onto any iPhone with MagSafe, can be removed with ease, and doubles as a stand to support iPhone at two different viewing angles, both vertically and horizontally.
The Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone is available in three colors: blue, orange, and stone. It’s available to order today from Apple’s website for $54.95. It’s unclear how much inventory Apple has, so it might sell out quickly like it did last time.
