Miss USA Returns To The CW Following Ownership Change
Peter White · 2026-06-24 · via News

Miss USA and Miss Teen USA will return to airing on The CW.

The network has struck a multi-year deal with BDE Miss USA, which now owns the competitions, to air the two events in August.

This comes after the network did not air the competition last year as a result of changes to the competition’s ownership.

The CW had previously struck a three-year deal in April 2024 to air the beauty pageants. However, in May 2024, Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt and Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava resigned from their positions, accusing the organizers of abuse and bullying.

Subsequently, longtime pageant coach Thom Brodeur acquired the pageants, replacing fashion designer Laylah Rose. The pageants have also previously been owned by the likes of Donald Trump and WME’s IMG.

Watch on Deadline

The CW did not air the events last year, marking the first time that the event was not televised since 1965, and it streamed on the Queen Beauty Network. Its new deal in now with Brodeur.

Miss Teen USA will air on August 26 and Miss USA, with its 75th Diamond Celebration, will air on August 27 with both competitions airing live from the Ziff Ballet Opera House in Miami.

“The CW is proud to bring premier live event programming to audiences nationwide, and we are thrilled to welcome Miss USA and Miss Teen USA back to the network,” said Heather Olander, Head of Entertainment Programming, The CW Network. “These two competitions deliver the spectacle, heart, and aspiration that resonates with viewers across the country, and we are honored to broadcast both, especially as Miss USA marks its historic 75th anniversary.”

“Bringing Miss USA and Miss Teen USA back to The CW for both competitions is a defining moment as we celebrate 75 years of Miss USA,” added Thom Brodeur, Chairman, President & CEO of the Miss USA Organization. “The CW reaches audiences in every corner of the country, and there is no better stage on which to showcase these 102 extraordinary women as they compete for two of the most iconic titles in the world. From the Arsht Center in Miami to the international stages in Cambodia and Puerto Rico, this is a landmark year for our titleholders, and we are proud to share every moment of it live with the American public.”
