EXCLUSIVE: Anonymous Content has signed King Princess, the contemporary pop artist born Mikaela Mullaney Straus, with an eye toward helping her scale her work across film, television, and stage.

A Brooklyn-based vocalist, songwriter, producer, and actor, King Princess made her on-screen debut in Season 2 of Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, appearing alongside Nicole Kidman, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Murray Bartlett, and Mark Strong. She made her feature debut last year in Song Sung Blue, opposite Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, and will next be seen in Will Gluck’s rom-com One Night Only, out August 7th.

On May 13th, King Princess will make her stage debut in the musical adaptation of Girl, Interrupted at The Public Theater, directed by Jo Bonney with original music by Aimee Mann.

King Princess’ third album, Girl Violence, released in September 2025, marked a creative reset — written after stepping away from the major label system and returning to her New York roots. She recently wrapped the North American leg of her tour and will bring Girl Violence to Europe later this year.

The artist first broke through with Cheap Queen and followed with the critically acclaimed Hold On Baby. Her collaborators and touring partners include Florence + The Machine, Kacey Musgraves, The Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Hawkins, Justin Vernon, Ethan Gruska, and Aaron Dessner.

This July, King Princess will open for Sombr in Mexico City for the kick-off show of his You Are The Reason North American tour. She continues to be represented by WME, ID PR, FKK&S, Fly South Music Group, Grandstand Media, and Hunter Cottingham.
