Prime Video Teases Summer Slate Of YA Originals, Book Adaptations & More From ‘The Love Hypothesis’ To ‘Clashing Through The Snow’
Dessi Gomez · 2026-04-30 · via News

Prime Video is about to set sail on a summer full of new projects in the young adult and romance spaces. Several splashy book adaptations, films and shows coming to the streamer in the next couple of months were teased in a sizzle reel of first look footage this morning.

Highly anticipated films that got first look footage include The Love Hypothesis, based on the book by Ali Hazelwood; Clashing Through The Snow, starring Christopher Briney and Michelle Randolph; The Devil’s Mouth, starring Kathryn Newton, Lana Condor, Gavin Casalegno and more; and The Last Sunrise based on Anna Todd’s novel starring Maia Reficco, Eva Longoria and Fernando Lindez.

Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman will lead The Love Hypothesis film, which centers on PhD student Olive (Reinhart) and Dr. Adam Carlson (Bateman) who overlap in the science department set at Stanford University in Hazelwood’s book with some back and forth to Boston. Footage can be seen of Reinhart’s Olive high fiving Bateman’s Carlson and also observing the rats on which she experiments. Both Fisher brothers — ahem, alums of The Summer I Turned Pretty series, which is now shooting its final film installment — Briney (Conrad) and Casalegno (Jeremiah) will appear in their respective films listed above, each of which have sizeable ensemble casts. Lukas Gage, Julia Fox and Paris Hilton will appear in Clashing Through the Snow, and Kathryn Newton, Lana Condor (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, Pretty Lethal), Nico Hiraga, Tayme Thapthimthong and others round out The Devil’s Mouth.

Your Fault: London, the second English film based on Mercedes Ron’s Wattpad novels in a trilogy after the Spanish trio — Culpa Mia, Culpa Tuya and Culpa Nuestra — also debuted new footage. Deadline broke the news that Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler would return to helm the next installment. Prime Video greenlit Your Fault: London and Our Fault: London in May 2025. Asha Banks (A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder) and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers) will reprise their roles as Noah and Nick.

L-R: Antonio Cipriano, Belmont Cameli, Stephen Thomas Kalyn and Jalen Thomas Brooks in 'Off Campus' Season 1

As for television, the streamer debuted some new footage from Season 1 of Off Campus — based on Elle Kennedy’s book series launches — that builds on the recently released trailer. The first season follows Kennedy’s first book of the quintet, The Deal, and arrives on the small screen in a little under two weeks. The steamy hockey series, which will unfold similarly to Bridgerton with a main couple centered in each season, has been renewed for a Season 2. A premiere screening was held in Los Angeles last night.

Every Year After, based on Carley Fortune’s novel Every Summer After, will arrive on Prime Video June 10. Footage unveiled sees Sadie Soverall’s Persephone “Percy” and Matt Cornett’s Sam Florek embark on their love story in the lakeside town of Barry’s Bay, which stretches over six years. Michael Bradway will portray Sam’s older brother Charlie Florek. Elisha Cuthbert (Girl Next Door, Happy Endings) will recur in the role of Sam’s mother, Sue Florek.

Lexi Minetree’s high school version of Elle Woods — originated by Reese Witherspoon — can be caught in the teaser montage. July will see the arrival of the Hello Sunshine-produced Elle, the prequel series to Legaly Blonde, which Deadline first announced nearly two years ago at Upfronts for the Prime Video.

My Old Ass director and writer Megan Park’s Sterling Point series, which very recently got its premiere date set for August 5 — the day Apple TV’s Ted Lasso returns with its fourth season — appeared in the highlight reel. The series will star Ella Rubin and Amélie Hoeferle. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jay Duplass will play recurring roles. The ensemble cast also includes Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie (A Colony), Keen Ruffalo (Hal & Harper), Bo Bragason (Renegade Nell), Daniel Quinn-Toye (Badults), Missi Pyle (Y: The Last Man) Nikko Angelo Hinayo (Davey & Jonesies’s Locker), Mabel Strachan (The Undertow) and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers (The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open with Kathleen Hepburn).

Maxton Hall Season 3, which wrapped production at the end of 2025, was teased as well. The third and final season will close out the series adaptation of Mona Kasten’s trilogy of novels, following Save Us, the third book. Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung), star couple of the series, show up in the sizzle reel.

Missing from the montage were projects like Overcompensating, which has been renewed for a Season 2; We Were Liars Season 2, the much talked about series adaptation of Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing. Dates have not yet been set for Clashing Through the Snow, The Last Sunrise and The Love Hypothesis. Maxton Hall Season 3 also does not yet have release timing details. The rest of the projects teased in the highlight reel have release months or specific dates, and those are outlined below:

  • Off Campus Season 1 – May 13

June

  • Every Year After – June 10
  • Your Fault London

July

  • Elle – July 1
  • The Devil’s Mouth

Alongside the sizzle footage, Prime Video announced a Fan Event, Obssessed Fest, for which tickets are on sale now. The inaugural fan event will take place June 27.
