


























EXCLUSIVE: Following the success of his Netflix thriller Apex, Taron Egerton has found a new agency to call home as he has signed with WME in all areas.
This comes after his survival thriller Apex, where he stars opposite Charlize Theron, earned him strong reviews for scene-stealing villain in the pic. The film was the top film over this past weekend after bowing on the platform last Friday.
Egerton received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Sir Elton John in Dexter Fletcher’s Rocketma, for which he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy and received BAFTA and SAG AFTRA nominations, along with Best Actor honors from multiple critics’ groups.
He was also recently starred in and produced Lionsgate’s She Rides Shotgun, earning praise for his performance. He also has the Lucky Chap produced comedy thriller, Everybody Wants to F**ck Me, written and directed by Jonathan Schey. He is currently in production on Matt Ross’ Kockroach alongside Chris Hemsworth and Zazie Beetz.
In 2022, Egerton starred in and made his producing debut with Dennis Lehane’s Apple TV+’s limited series Black Bird, alongside Ray Liotta and Paul Walter Hauser. Based on the book In with the Devil, the critically acclaimed series earned Egerton Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, as well as his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Teaming up with Dennia Lehane & Apple TV+ again in 2025 Egerton starred and produced in Smoke, a series inspired by the case of arsonist John Leonard Orr. Egerton received a 2026 BAFTA Television Award nomination in the Leading Actor category for his performance.
