Find important files faster

Files can now be marked as favourites directly in the Web UI. As the favourite status is saved on the server side, it is available centrally and is not tied to an individual client. The feature can currently be used in the Web UI. Files marked as favourites are marked with a star. This status is not only visible on your own favourites page, but also in all relevant areas such as personal or project spaces, subfolders and in the search results. This means that you can always see which content is particularly important. Spaces themselves cannot yet be marked as favourites.

Central overview on the favourites page

All marked files are bundled on a separate favourites page. This facilitates quick access to frequently used content without users having to navigate through different folders or Spaces. The display supports both list and tile views and is based on the global view setting. The view can be customised as required using the view switcher. All important information remains clearly visible in both views, such as name, preview or file type, status indicators and available actions.

Consistently integrated into the interface

The favourites status is also clearly integrated visually: In the list view, it appears in the status column, while in the tile view it is placed prominently next to the other status displays. This means that the feature fits consistently into the existing user interface.

MoreInnovationsinRollingRelease

In addition to favourites, the rolling release brings further practical enhancements. These include a calculator extension for quick calculations directly in OpenCloud. It works by entering the calculation task in the search bar, the result can then be copied directly. There is also a Pastebin extension for easy sharing of text content. These are automatically saved in the personal area as a hidden .space folder. Both extensions come from the community. Thank you for this contribution.
