good morning.

The state of Fedora talk was a lead-in into a panel discussion with the entire Fedora Council, followed by a FESCo panel discussion, followed by a keynote about Hummingbird.

I would encourage you to watch the Council panel discussion, which directly follows the state of Fedora.

That entire 9 hour video covers a lot of ground..

Packit CI
and later the talk on project stewardship in the scope of the CRA legislation.

The end of the Hummingbird talk and the Q&A is particularly interesting.

Unfortunately, the Sunday workshops for Packit, Hummingbird, and the CRA stewardship were not recorded. We might need to figure out if we can also record the workshops in a useful manner next time.

I do find it interesting that no one in attendance took the opportunity to ask questions of Council collectively about the AI desktop initiative process nor the question about Council's trademark decision making over Hummingbird. I was fully expecting those questions, and they didn't happen.

I'm happy to talk openingly about Council related things, but I want to do so in a context where other Council members can do so as well, from their perspective. That in-person panel discussion was probably the best available context for Council members to be asked to opine. If that panel situation is not sufficient opportunity, then we have to work on that and try to create additional opportunities for Council members to take and answer questions from the community in a structured way more frequently.
