




















For the non-Red Hatters involved in Fedora - we are always aware the project is chiefly driven by Red Hat, sometimes to our frustration - it's really hard to fund initiatives because Fedora is not an independent foundation for instance, something belatedly being addressed now, but I should note that this article does not note most of the driver of that initiative are the community contributors.
That being said, the previous FPL (between recency bias and that Matthew served for such a long time and it coincides with my more active contribution period anyway, I won't mention the earlier ones) is much better at having this sounds like a dialog. Under the current incumbent - indeed, it feels like working for someone, but we're not paid...
