> Putting unnecessary sexual references in technical content harms minors' accessibility to it

i was a minor when i started hosting gaysex.cloud. it's been a good few years and i'm now an adult. but i thought it was a funny domain name and i still think it is funny that it sparks discussions like these.

and you're right, this choice of domain name *does* in fact harm my minor self's accessibility to it, but not for the reason you stated. my school blocked my website for sexual content. so i appealed it. told them "hey, what the fuck". and then they unblocked it. because they realized restricting access to it was wrong. it was also blocked at my local hospital. so i asked *them* to review it. explaining that i'm a minor and that i definitely do not run a pornography website; the name was just funny. they reclassified it from "pornography" to "other adult materials" and still blocked my site lol. the only reason the name harmed my accessibility to it is because of invasive networks that shouldn't exist. see IETF RFC 7258.

as for your kid not seeing my technical stuff? that doesn't sound like it's my fault either. that sounds like *you're* the one limiting access to my technical posts.
