
































Subtly different - the re-authentication is to do "high-risk" operations (like request a CI build be pushed to a testing repository), and requires you to already be authenticated (using a token you got at login).
In the 1FA world, you got your daily login token with a single factor, then you used that same factor for high-risk operations; in the 2FA world, you got your daily login token with two factors, then used your choice of factor for high-risk operations.
