There are a million ways to do it, but if you're happy to split the ripping step from the tagging/organising then I can recommend beets (https://beets.readthedocs.io/en/stable/index.html).
I've had very good results with that, after first ripping with whipper or abcde.
It handles tagging (from MusicBrainz), ReplayGain, renaming, transcoding, organising the library files, and many other things via plugins (https://beets.readthedocs.io/en/stable/plugins/index.html).
It's configurable, and command-line-based, which means once you've decided your approach to tagging/naming/formats etc you can just script your "ingest" process and do it consistently the same way even if you only occasionally add new media. You can of course join the ripping with the tagging/media management via your own scripts, too.
