Any idea how it compares to CamScanner?
OCR is nice to have but not critical for me. The killer feature is the adaptive thresholding. Without adaptive thresholding the photo has low contrast and it may be general darky costing a ton of ink while printing. Adaptive thresholding solves this issue by making the page background white while enhancing the contrast. Furthermore cleaning up the dark parts of the image allows for a much better compression. So a 6 page PDF results to 3MB instead of 20MB (numbers out of my last impression aka not reliable).
So my use case is all about enhancing and not preservation of the original image.
