




















Same. I used it after Suse did exactly that, pulling the rug. I was a happy user of Gentoo from 2004 to 2015 until I moved on to Nixos (which, in my opinion, is the future of distribution design for more reasons I can write up). I finished my journey with 0 reinstalls (I just copied the harddrive to the next computer) and config files dating back to 2007. To be totally honest, I used Paludis in the last year or two before moving to Nixos (ebuild was in a rough spot stability-wise at that point, and I had a lust for the experimental).
If you dislike Nixos, I can recommend Gentoo every day. Your documentation has always been awesome (only surpassed by Arch's in certain areas).
