Customer service is being rebuilt from scratch, and we’re building the platform that wins it.

Typewise (YC S22) is the AI Agent Platform behind 60+ enterprise customer service teams across Europe and the US. Brands like Unilever and DPD use us to resolve customer requests across email, chat, and social, autonomously, at a fraction of the cost and a multiple of the quality. We’re a 20-person remote-first team out of Zurich, moving fast, and we just raised the round to push harder.

Here’s the challenge: when a CS leader sits down today and types “best AI customer service platform” into Google, they find Fin/Intercom. They find Zendesk. They don’t find us. Yet.

That’s the job.

Who you'll work with

You’ll report directly to David (CEO, ex-Booz Allen strategy) and work alongside Janis (CTO, deep tech NLP). No marketing VP layer. No approval chains. Two founders who’ve built the company from a research project to 50+ enterprise customers and who now need someone to make the world find what they’ve built. You’ll have direct access to decisions, budget, and the full team.

Role Overview

As AI Growth Engineer, you own one outcome: make CS buyers find Typewise through any creative, non-paid, AI-powered means that work. No channel is off-limits. No approach is too unconventional. You pick the channels, build the systems, run the experiments, and iterate ruthlessly. This is a 3-month sprint to prove what works with the option to extend or convert to full-time.

Your outcomes

  • Make Typewise discoverable wherever CS buyers research solutions: Reddit, podcasts, YouTube, influencers, industry associations, communities, or channels nobody has thought of yet.
  • Build AI-powered systems that let you operate at the scale of a full marketing team, alone.
  • Run fast experiment loops (days, not weeks) and prove which channels deliver real sign-ups and pipeline.
  • Leave behind a documented, automated Growth Playbook that keeps working after the sprint ends.

In your first 30 days, you'll have shipped your first experiments and generated your first measurable signals. We don't care which channel. We care that something is live and learning.

What you'll bring

  • AI-native to the core: you don't just use AI — you think in AI. You've built agents, automations, or AI-powered systems that do things that weren't possible two years ago. You use AI to 10x yourself, not to save 10 minutes on an email.
  • Builder mindset: you can ship systems autonomously — whether that's through code, AI-assisted development, no-code tools, or a combination. You don't need a team to go from idea to live experiment.
  • Growth obsession: you've grown something before — a side project, a community, a product's user base — through creative, non-obvious means.
  • Speed and bias to action: you ship experiments in days, not weeks. You're comfortable with imperfect launches and fast iteration.
  • Ownership mindset: you treat this like your own startup. You don't wait for instructions; you identify opportunities and execute.
  • Nice to have: experience with B2B SaaS, customer service/CX industry knowledge, podcast guesting or influencer outreach, community building.

Why you'll love it here

  • Category-defining platform at the forefront of AI for customer service.
  • Full autonomy: you own the mission, the channels, and the experiments. We give you the budget and get out of the way.
  • Unlimited AI budget for tools and APIs, we're serious about the AI-first approach.
  • Hyper-collaborative, international team (20 people) with fast decision cycles and high trust.
  • Remote-first with flexible hours (CET-friendly, office in Zurich).
  • Quarterly team trips to cool locations for on-sites, customer visits, and shared adventures.
  • Competitive compensation with performance bonus tied to measurable outcomes. Stock option potential if converting to full-time.
  • The chance to define how Typewise grows, and prove that creative, AI-powered organic growth beats paid ads.

Ready to move?

Don't send us a CV. Send us something you've built: a bot, an automation, a growth system, a content engine. Show us how you think and what you can ship. Tell us which channels you'd attack first for Typewise and why.

Help us make sure the next person searching for a CS AI solution finds Typewise, not just the incumbents.
