An Independent Linux Phone

A successor to the iconic original Jolla Phone from 2013, brought to 2026 with modern specs and honoring the Jolla heritage design.

A phone you can actually daily-drive. Still Private. Still Yours.

Defined together with the Community

Sailfish OS community members voted on what the next Jolla device should be. The key characteristics, specifications and features of the device.

Based on community voting and real user needs, this device has only one mission:

Put control back in your hands.

  • Built for Longevity

Sailfish OS is proven to outlive mainstream support cycles. Long-term OS support, guaranteed for minimum 5 years. Incremental updates, and no forced obsolescence.

  • Your Phone Shouldn’t Spy on You

Mainstream phones send vast amounts of background data. A common Android phone sends megabytes of data per day to Google even if the device is not used at all.

Sailfish OS stays silent unless you explicitly allow connections.

DIT: DO IT TOGETHER

This isn’t your regular smartphone project.

It’s a community mission.

  • You voted on the device
  • You guided its specs and definition
  • You shaped the philosophy
  • And now you help bring it to life

FAQ

Why a batch sales model?

We source components and produce in limited batches.

Further,  the memory component prices and availability have been exceptionally volatile over the past quarters and the forecasts remain such for the whole 2026. This is precisely why we structured our pre-orders in limited batches with locked prices, so we could plan component procurement and honour the price we committed to you.

Is the purchase refundable?

Yes. Fully.

We refund all payments upon request. While making a request please note to detail your order number and proof of payment.

For the time being our refund process is manual and it will take some time to process your request. Rest assured, you will get your money back if you have requested. 100% guarantee.

What changed between batches?

Pre-order batches #1, #2, #3, and the first 1000 and second 2000 units of the Sep 2026 are now locked.

  • Pre-order batches #1, #2 and #3 ALL ship with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage
  • Sep 2026 ships with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage unless you upgraded to 12/256GB configuration (upgrade still available)
  • Sep-II 2026 ships with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (12/256GB upgrade option)

All orders include a refundable 99€ down payment, deducted from your final payment.

What is the memory configuration of my batch?

Memory component prices and availability have had exceptionally high volatility in past quarters. Thus, we plan memory configurations and sell in limited batches to manage working capital.

What is the normal price of the product, do I get discount by ordering now?

By ordering now you secure your total final price of 649€ (incl. your local VAT).

Notably in particular memory component prices and availability have had exceptionally high volatility in past quarters. Thus, we sell in limited batches so we can plan memory configurations and manage working capital.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes.

We refund all payments upon request. While making a request please note to detail your order number and proof of payment.

For the time being our refund process is manual and it will take some time to process your request. Rest assured, you will get your money back if you have requested. 100% guarantee.

Is this phone real or just a concept?

It is real. We successfully completed the pre-order phase and secured the product program. Please join and follow the progress in the forum.

Will there be accessories, like a spare battery and protective case?

Yes, there is and further is coming -- stay tuned.

When will the first Jolla Phones ship? When I get mine?

We start shipping the batch #1 in beginning of July 2026, followed by pre-order batches #2 and #3 during July-August.

The Sep 2026 and Sep-II 2026 batches will both ship in September 2026 (in this order).

Will the Jolla Phone work outside Europe, can I use it e.g. in the U.S.?

Yes, we have designed the cellular band configuration to enable global traveling as much as possible, including e.g. roaming in the U.S. carrier networks.

Can I buy the Jolla Phone if I’m outside Europe, can I use it e.g. in the U.S.?

The initial sales markets are EU, UK, Switzerland and Norway. Entering other markets, such as the U.S. and Canada are to be decided due course based on potential interest from the areas.

We have designed the cellular band configuration to enable potential future markets, including major U.S. carrier networks.
