After the game, Yankees superstar Aaron Judge was asked for his thoughts on having Domínguez back in the MLB (with Giancarlo Stanton out of action).

Judge (via YES Network): “You call up a guy like Jasson Domínguez who can kind of fill that role. Maybe DH. Play some outfield for us. He’s been raking in Triple A. I think he was definitely upset not making the team out of camp. I think he’s gonna show up here ready to prove some people wrong and kind of send a message.”

Domínguez finished last season batting .257 with 98 hits, ten home runs, 47 RBI’s, 58 runs and 23 stolen bases in 123 games.

The 23-year-old is already in his fourth season playing for the Yankees.

Jorge Castillo of ESPN wrote before Monday’s game: “The Yankees are calling up Jasson Domínguez, a source tells ESPN. Domínguez batted .326 with an .893 OPS in 24 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.”

Yankees Right Now

GettyAaron Judge #99 of the New York Yankees hits a solo home run in the second inning against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field on April 27, 2026 in Arlington, Texas.

After a tough stretch earlier this month, the Yankees have been one of the hottest teams in the MLB over the last two weeks.

They are 19-10 in 29 games, which has them at the top of the American League East.

On the road, the Yankees have gone 11-5 in the 16 games they have played away from the Bronx.

Erik Boland of Newsday Sports wrote: “A little rickety in the ninth but David Bednar picks up his 8th save in 9 chances as the Yankees win, 4-2, here in Arlington. They’ve won 10 of their last 12 games and 11 of their last 14 in improving to an AL-best 19-10″
