On Monday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers opened up their series with the Houston Astros in Texas.
The Dodgers won by a score of 8-3.
Shohei Ohtani finished with two walks, one RBI and two runs.

On Tuesday, Ohtani will take the mound as the team’s pitcher.
However, Dave Roberts revealed that he will be out of the starting lineup as a hitter.

Ohtani is currently batting .240 with 30 hits, six home runs, 14 RBI’s and 23 runs in his first 33 games.
He is in his third season playing for the Dodgers.
Jack Harris of The California Post added: “Dave Roberts said pregame he was gonna have Shohei Ohtani DH during his pitching start tomorrow But after tonight’s game, he said they’re gonna change course and just have Ohtani pitch Ohtani had a couple walks tonight, but went hitless again and is 0-for-17 in last 5 games”

As a pitcher this season, Ohtani has gone 2-1 with a 0.60 ERA in five games.

Despite winning each of their last two games, the Dodgers have been in somewhat of a slump over the last few weeks.
They are still the first-place team in the National League West with a 22-13 record in 35 games.
On the road, the Dodgers have gone 10-7 in 17 games away from Los Angeles.
Following their series with the Astros, they will head home to host the Atlanta Braves on Friday.

The Astros have had a slow start to the season.
They are the fourth-place team in the American League West with a 14-22 record in 36 games.
At home, the Astros have gone 8-9 in 17 games.
Following the Dodgers, they will head on the road to visit the Cincinnati Reds on Friday.
