Earlier this week, the surprising news came out that the Dallas Mavericks had parted ways with head coach Jason Kidd.
Kidd had been at the helm for five seasons, helping lead them to the 2024 NBA Finals (and 2022 Western Conference finals).
Mavs PR wrote (on May 19): “The Dallas Mavericks announced today that the team has mutually agreed to part ways with head coach Jason Kidd. The organization will immediately begin a comprehensive search for its next head coach.”
