When the Green Bay Packers pulled off the blockbuster trade to acquire Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys last offseason, the team immediately became a Super Bowl favorite.

Throughout his first season with the team, Parsons did not disappoint. Unfortunately, late in the year against the Denver Broncos, he went down with a torn ACL.

Due to the ACL tear happening so late in the season, Parsons is not expected to be ready for Week 1 in 2026. However, there is an overwhelming belief that he should be back on the field by Week 4 at the latest.

Parsons has been attacking his rehab process hard. Fans have been paying close attention to any update he posts or the Packers reveal.

With that being said, Parsons has shared another update about himself on social media.

Packers Star Micah Parsons Posts New Update on Injury Recovery

In a post on Instagram, Parsons shared a video of himself working out. The video consisted of him doing a “jab drill” in the sand and he looked comfortable doing it.

Okkkk Micah

That is great news. Parsons has been trying to relearn how to run and get his legs fully back under him.

For Green Bay to be a true Super Bowl contender, Parsons will need to be playing at 100 percent. He’s well on his way to getting back to that level.

Immediately after the injury happened, every fan had worst-case scenarios on their mind. Would Parsons ever be able to get his explosiveness back that has made him so dangerous throughout his career? Was this an injury that would blow up the biggest move the Packers have made in years?

Only time will tell, but Parsons is looking better and better as his rehab continues.

Looking Back at Micah Parsons’ First Season in Green Bay

Despite giving up so much trade value to get Parsons, the Packers were pleased with what they saw from him in year one.

Parsons ended up playing in 14 games during the 2025 season. He racked up 41 total tackles, 12.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass. Those numbers gave Green Bay the best pass rushing threat it has had in a long time.

At 26 years old, the former Penn State standout has a lot of good football left in him. Assuming he can bounce back to full health and stay that way, the Packers are in good hands.

Hopefully, his recovery continues going smoothly with no setbacks. For now, fans are being given major reason to get excited about Parsons’ early return in 2026.
