Heading into Game 7 against the Boston Celtics, the Philadelphia 76ers have added another star to the injury report.

Paul George has been downgraded on Saturday afternoon. According to the injury report, the star forward is dealing with an illness.

Fortunately for the Sixers, George’s illness isn’t guaranteed to keep him out. In fact, his chances of playing remain high, as he’s probable for the game.

The 76ers need all hands on deck on Saturday night. They have an opportunity to pull off a massive upset, which would be a big comeback as well.

During the first-round series against the Celtics, the 76ers trailed 3-1 heading into Boston for Game 5. Joel Embiid was back in the lineup, and helped the team turn it around after a blowout loss.

After the 76ers defeated the Celtics on the road for a second time this series, George and his team went back to Philly for Game 6. Not only did the 76ers defeat the Celtics–they ended up destroying them to force Game 7.

George checked in for 39 minutes. He shot 47.1% from the field to score 23 points. In addition to his scoring, George came down with four rebounds, dished out three assists, came up with two steals, and blocked one shot.

The Sixers defeated the Celtics 106-93.

Following the stunning Game 6 victory, Paul George revealed the message he had for his team:

“Don’t get too high. Don’t get too high on these games, man,” George said on the broadcast after the game.

“You know, enjoy it, but flush it out. Get ready for the next one. It does so fast, and you just got to be ready for that next one. It’s gonna be an adjustment. We can’t expect the to miss shots that they missed. I thought they did miss some easy ones—some open ones—we just can’t be too high. Just kind of stay even-keeled.”

The 76ers and the Celtics are scheduled for a 7:30 PM ET tip. The winner moves on for a series against the New York Knicks. The loser will call it a season.
