Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks

Karl-Anthony‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Towns has played like a top-tier big man in the NBA postseason this year. However, as the New York Knicks are still figuring out their next opponent, KAT has spent his time in a way that hardly anyone would have guessed.

According to a Topps post on X, Towns announced on his Instagram page that he is offering $60,000 for the 1-of-1 John Cena WrestleMania 41 patch autograph card from the 2026 Topps Royalty set.

The card holds a piece of the actual patch Cena wore at WrestleMania 41, where he defeated Cody Rhodes to win a record-breaking 17th WWE Championship in his final WrestleMania match.

NY Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns has officially placed a $60,000 bounty on John Cena’s 1-of-1 WrestleMania 41 patch autograph card, he announced on IG

The patch comes from Cena’s final WrestleMania where he won his record-breaking 17th WWE Championship

KAT recently shared that

Towns is no stranger to this world. He recently placed a $40,000 bid on the Randy Orton WrestleMania 41 patch autograph card, only to get outbid in the closing seconds. That card sold for $42,100, and Towns made sure he came back with a bigger number this time.

If his $60,000 offer gets accepted, it would rank as the second-highest WWE card sale ever, behind The Rock’s 2022 Panini Prizm 1-of-1 at $126,000. A lot of collectors, though, think the Cena card could go even higher, given the retirement storyline attached to the moment it came from.

Karl-Anthony Towns Has Been Unstoppable for the New York Knicks This Postseason

Collecting‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ sports cards is just a hobby for Towns during the series break. In fact, he is just as unstoppable on the basketball court. Through 10 playoff games, he is averaging 17.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 6.6 assists, helping the Knicks in both offense and defense

The Knicks knocked out the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the playoffs, and Towns was a major factor. In the recent game, he scored 17 points and 10 assists in only 20 minutes, contributing to a winning margin of plus-23.

Cavaliers vs Pistons 2026 Playoffs: Who Will the Knicks Face Next

Now comes the wait. The Knicks are sitting at home while the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons will continue their series, and we could get the winner very soon, who will face the Knicks.

Cleveland holds a 3-2 series lead after a wild overtime comeback in Game 5, where James Harden dropped 30 points to bring the Cavs back from nine points down late in regulation. Game 6 is Friday night in Cleveland.

For Towns, either opponent sets up well on paper. He has averaged 20.8 points and 9.6 rebounds in 17 career games against the Cavaliers, and 21.2 points and 9.2 rebounds in 19 games against the Pistons

But for now, the Knicks are rested, healthy enough, and playing the best basketball of anyone left in the East.
