Police have made a key move in the investigation into the burglary at the home of the late Greg Biffle, a case that has remained quiet for months. The update comes nearly four months after thieves broke into the vacant estate following a tragic plane crash that killed Biffle and his family in December 2025.

Authorities in Iredell County confirmed they executed search warrants related to a person of interest. Police executed search warrants on Thursday at two locations connected to the Greg Biffle burglary case. One property is located on Saint James Church Road in Denver, North Carolina. The second is a business on McCrary Creek Road in Mooresville. Investigators believe both sites are linked to a person of interest, but they have not released a name.

Adam Dillard, attorney for the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed the action in a statement. “Law enforcement is executing a search warrant and searching for evidence related to the break-in at the Biffle residence,” Dillard said.

During the search in Denver, a reporter approached a man as he left the property and asked for comment. The man responded, “Not a f—— thing, buddy.”

Deputies did not recover any of the stolen items during the searches. However, they seized several electronic devices from the Denver location. Investigators will now review those devices as part of the ongoing Greg Biffle burglary case. Officials stressed that the case remains active and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Surveillance footage showed a suspect arriving at the house around 11 p.m. and staying inside for a long time. Investigators said the suspect broke into a safe and took about $30,000 in cash, NASCAR memorabilia, two Glock handguns, and a backpack.

At the time, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office released video and 911 audio to the public in an effort to get leads. The case then went quiet for months before this latest update.
