The New York Yankees are calling up outfield prospect Spencer Jones, MLB insider Jon Heyman reports.

Jones, 24, is the Yankees’ number six prospect according to MLB Pipeline. The towering left-hander stands at a whopping 6’7 “, 240 lbs. The sheer size combination of Jones and Aaron Judge should provide for some on-field theatrics in the Bronx. Whether that’s fun-sized home runs that travel 450+ feet, or watching the Yankees’ corner outfielders loom over the competition.
MLB Network: “The Yankees are reportedly calling up their 6th-ranked prospect, Spencer Jones.”
MiLB Central: “The New York Yankees are calling up Spencer Jones to the majors, per @Feinsand.”
Just Baseball: “Spencer Jones is being called up to MLB, per @JonHeyman. Jones has hit 11 HR with 41 RBI and a .958 OPS in 33 games in AAA this year.”
