On Sunday afternoon, the Detroit Tigers will play the Cincinnati Reds in Ohio for their series finale.
The Tigers are coming off a 9-2 loss on Saturday.
Javier Báez finished with two strikeouts in three at-bats.
They will look to avoid getting swept on Sunday.

For Sunday’s game, the Tigers have announced their starting lineup.

Báez will not be in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Reds.
He is batting .267 with two home runs, six RBI’s, ten runs and one stolen base in 22 games this season.

Báez is in his fifth season playing for the Tigers.
He spent the first eight years of his career with the Chicago Cubs, making two MLB All-Star Games (and helping them win the 2016 World Series Championship).
Before the Tigers, Báez had a quick stop with the New York Mets.

Last season, the 33-year-old made his third trip to the All-Star Game.
He batted .257 with 12 home runs, 57 RBI’s, 55 runs and five stolen bases in 126 games.

The Tigers come into the day as the second-place team in the American League Central with a 14-14 record in 28 games.
Following Sunday’s game, they will get a day off before heading to Atlanta for a series with the Braves that starts on Tuesday.
