On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers will play the Houston Rockets in Texas for Game 4 of their first-round playoff series.

The Lakers are coming off a 112-108 win (in overtime).

They have a 3-0 lead in the series, so they can go for the sweep on Sunday.

For Sunday’s game, the Lakers have announced their full injury report.

Luka Doncic has been ruled out.

However, Austin Reaves is now being listed as questionable for the second straight game.

Reaves last played in a game on April 2.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin wrote: “Austin Reaves is once again questionable for Game 4, per the Lakers”

Getting Reaves back in action would be huge, as he is one of their best players (and among the top guards in the Western Conference).

He finished the season with averages of 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 51 games.

The former Oklahoma star is in his fifth year playing for the Lakers.

Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet wrote (on Saturday morning): “On a conference call with reporters this morning, JJ Redick said Austin Reaves will get some shots up this morning, and there will be an update on him later this afternoon regarding his status for Game 4.”

Lakers Still Rolling Despite Injuries

Even without Reaves (and Doncic), the Lakers find themselves on the verge of becoming the first team to advance to the second round in the 2026 NBA playoffs.

LeBron James finished Game 3 with 29 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block while shooting 10/22 from the field and 4/9 from three-point range in 45 minutes of playing time.

Real App wrote: “LeBron James passes LeBron James as the oldest player to score 25+ PTS in a playoff game.”

If the Lakers are unable to take Game 4, the series will head back to Los Angeles for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

Last season, they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (in five games).

The Lakers last won a title in 2020 (and reached the Western Conference finals in 2023).
