Pistons vs Magic: The Detroit Pistons are 1-3 in their series against the Orlando Magic. In future, they have a Cade Cunningham issue.

With the Cleveland Cavaliers getting on the board, the Detroit Pistons’ chances of forming a sweep in the second round are officially out the window.

Cade Cunningham and his team allowed the Cavaliers to close the gap, but Detroit still holds the power in the series. Cunningham’s team will have to play another outing in Ohio this week.

Despite the loss, the Pistons are in good spirits–confident about where they are at.

“We feel great about where we’re at. We feel great about the way we’re playing basketball. Coming into their gym, they had energy. They made shots, you know they are going to make more shots,” Cunningham told reporters after the game.

“The whistles are going to go their way, naturally. I thought we did a good job of withstanding all of that and still putting ourselves right there to win the game. We’ll execute better and pull these games out in the future. Tough one, obviously, we wish we would’ve grabbed this one. It is what it is, learn from it.”

The Cavaliers controlled the game for most of the afternoon, but the Pistons teased a comeback. In the end, a desperate Cleveland team found a way to seal the game.
