The Baltimore Ravens have addressed almost all of their offseason needs. After a stellar NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens have rose in ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings.

The Baltimore Ravens now rank number 10 in ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings. They previously ranked number 14 in the rankings.

This all started when the Ravens went all in on former All-Pro Edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. The organization signed Hendrickson to a four-year $112 million deal in free agency.

It was clear the Baltimore Ravens needed edge rush help. The pressure was on the Ravens to once again have a good draft to buffer a lot positions.

ESPN Has Edge Rusher as Ravens’ Most Improved Position

Rightfully so, the Baltimore Ravens hit a home run by drafting Zion Young out of the University of Missouri.

“The Ravens are looking to get to the quarterback more often after signing Trey Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million deal in free agency and then drafting Missouri’s Zion Young in the second round. Hendrickson has the third-most sacks (39) in the NFL over the past three years, and Young had the fifth-best pressure rate (15.4%) in the SEC last season.” The ESPN article says.

The Ravens ranked 24th in total defense during the 2025 season. Baltimore was the 10th ranked defense against the run. They were the 30th ranked defense against the pass.

Baltimore Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta praised Young’s motor as a top edge rusher.

“It was agony in the second round because good players were flying off the board. He has great physicality, can stuff the run, and has pass-rush upside. His energy and motor are infectious. He runs to the football with violence and passion. We loved his Senior Bowl performance and that viral overtime coin toss moment where he showed toughness and trash talk. He’s going to fit right in.” DeCosta said during an episode of “The Lounge” podcast.

It’s safe to say that the Baltimore Ravens drafted a charismatic edge rusher and he’s clearly ready to go.

“Let’s get it!!” Young said during his Draft Day call with Eric DeCosta. “Let’s get it. You fired up? You excited? Let’s get it. Let’s get it. Let’s get it.”

“You’re going to the team you wanted to go to, right?” DeCosta said.

“Let’s get it. I know that. Let’s get it. We’re going to get it.” Young Replied.

Other Positions the Baltimore Ravens Addressed

Important positions the Baltimore Ravens addressed was wide receiver and offensive line. Some names include Ja’Kobi Lane and Vega Ioane.

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Vega Ioane in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. Over the past two seasons, Vega Ioane has allowed zero sacks in over 808 snaps on offense. Last year, he recorded 298 snaps with zero sacks allowed. It’s safe to say whoever goes up against Ioane in 2026 will have their hands full.

Ja’Kobi Lane was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft out of the University of Southern California.

“(Lane) stands in at 6-foot-4, 208 pounds, which will make him the biggest wide receiver on the Ravens’ roster by far, slotting alongside top three receivers Zay Flowers (5-foot-9), Rashod Bateman (6-foot-1), Devontez Walker (6-foot-1), and LaJohntay Wester (5-foot-9).” Ryan Mink wrote in a Baltimore Ravens article. “The Ravens wanted to diversify their wide receiver room, and they certainly did that with Lane.”
