Earlier this season, Andy Jankowiak earned a major win in the ARCA Menards Series at Talladega Superspeedway after holding off Cleetus McFarland in the closing laps.

After the race, Jankowiak dedicated the victory to Steve Mendoza in an emotional Victory Lane interview.

“I’ve had too much help, so many people who help make all of this happen. This has never been more of a team effort standing in Victory Lane at Talladega. What an adventure,” Jankowiak said.

“This one’s for my best friend, Steve Mendoza. I’m wearing a green bandana for him. I love him so much, and I know he’s home watching.”
