Ahead of Saturday’s game, the Astros announced that they had claimed Rhylan Thomas off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
Dylan Delgatto The Sporting News wrote: “The Astros have claimed OF Rhylan Thomasoff waivers from the Seattle Mariners and will option him to Triple A Sugar Land. To make room for Thomas on the 40-man roster, the Astros have transferred RHP Hunter Brown to the 60-day IL.”
