For the Denver Nuggets, their bid to advance in the NBA Playoffs has been plagued by a series of injury woes to key contributors on their roster. As the Nuggets go up against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 6 of the series between the two teams, the determination of who walks away as the victor could very well be made by how many players are sidelined tonight.

The Denver Nuggets are currently forecasting to have several players on their injured list at the time of tipoff for Game 6 against the Timberwolves, but there remains a hefty degree of hope and optimism that some of the players listed as ‘questionable’ at present can make an appearance on the court as the Nuggets continue their playoff run.

Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves will take place on Thursday April 30, 2026 at 9:30 PM ET / 8:30 PM CT / 6:30 PM PT.

Injury Status Report for Denver Nuggets Star Forward Aaron Gordon Ahead of Game 6 Against the Minnesota Timberwolves

The biggest injury concern for the Denver Nuggets going into Game 6 against the Minnesota Timberwolves is star forward Aaron Gordon, who has been dealing with extreme calf tightness throughout the playoff series. He was previously ruled out of Game 3 because of the injury, and reports entering Game 6 indicate that he remains on the injury report so that Denver can monitor his condition as carefully as possible ahead of game time. Just before tipoff, the Nuggets announced that Gordon will not make an appearance on the court during Game 6 of the playoff series.

Gordon’s importance to the Nuggets cannot be overstated. His versatility on both ends of the floor has been vital throughout Denver’s playoff bid, and he provides secondary scoring behind teammates Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. If Aaron Gordon ends up on the sidelines of Game 6, or his performance is physically limited in the event he does in fact get out on the court, then Denver could struggle to contain the Timberwolves’ size and transition game.

Denver Nuggets’ Injury Report & Player Status for Peyton Watson

In addition to Aaron Gordon’s current status on the sidelines in tonight’s Game 6 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, another major absence for the Nuggets continues to be Peyton Watson. After suffering a right hamstring strain, Watson continues to recover off of the court and has already missed significant time after being ruled out for several weeks due to his impaired physical condition. For Game 6, he will remain sidelined.
