The Pirates lost by a score of 7-6 (in 12 innings).
Despite the loss, rookie Konnor Griffin finished with one home run and one walk.

Griffin was the ninth pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.
He made his MLB debut earlier this season.
The 20-year-old came into the day batting .258 with 31 hits, two home runs, 18 RBI’s, 14 runs and nine stolen bases in 34 games.
Pirates Right Now

The Pirates are now 22-19 in 41 games, which has them as the fourth-place team in the National League Central.

Following the Giants, the Pirates will now return home to host the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday (they will be off on Monday).
