With the season well underway, it’s worth noting that a former Dodgers star is still a free agent.
Austin Barnes still remains available to sign with any team in the MLB on May 3.
He is coming off a season where he appeared in 13 games for the Dodgers.
Over the offseason, Barnes was with the New York Mets.

Barnes was picked in the ninth round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
He has spent all 11 seasons of his MLB career with the Dodgers.
In that span, the Dodgers made the World Series four times (and won two titles).

He is batting .223 with 338 hits, 35 home runs, 162 RBI’s, 206 runs and 23 stolen bases.
While Barnes is 36, he is a reliable veteran with a lot of experience that a lot of clubhouses could use.
It will be interesting to see if another team picks him up before the end of the 2026 season.
