Mýa Signs with WME for Representation
Chris Gardner · 2026-06-19 · via The Hollywood Reporter

Mýa has a new home at WME.

The veteran singer, who has credits across acting, dancing, producing and more, has signed with the agency for worldwide representation in all areas. The agency will work with Mýa in such areas as music, touring, brand partnerships, film, TV, theater, documentary, licensing, publishing, fashion, wellness, lifestyle and more.

The signing comes on the heels of releasing her latest album, Retrospect, which was released via (her own imprint) Planet 9/Virgin Music Group on May 15. It was the performer’s first full-length album in eight years. She made her debut in 1998.

Since then, Mýa is best known for tracks like “It’s All About Me,” “Case of the Ex,” “My Love Is Like… Wo,” “Free,” “Best of Me,” “Movin’ On,” “Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)” with Pras and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. She scored a global No. 1 hit with “Lady Marmalade” alongside Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and P!nk. The track scored a Grammy for best pop collaboration with vocals.

Off stage, Mýa has turned in screen work like the Oscar-winning musical Chicago as well as Cursed, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Shall We Dance?, NCIS, Dancing with the Stars and Voices of Hope ~ Words of Wisdom. She appeared in the recent documentary Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery about her time on the Sarah McLachlan-created tour.

WME’s music division books more than 40,000 tour dates annually for artists spanning all genres. Mýa joins a roster that includes Adele, Anitta, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Chris Stapleton, Coldplay, EJAE, Foo Fighters, Hozier, J Balvin, Justin Timberlake, Lainey Wilson, Nine Inch Nails, Olivia Rodrigo, Pearl Jam, Rihanna, Sam Smith, Shakira, Snoop Dogg, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, The Weeknd, The Killers, Zach Bryan and many more.
