Just in time for picnic season, The Great American Sandwich Show is now chronicling all manner of things you can put between two slices of bread.
The YouTube-first series, from Trusted Media Brands’ Taste of Home, features comedian, writer and chef Lindsay Ames as she chats with familiar faces and puts on a spin on their favorite sandwiches. There’ll be chopping, toasting, stacking and (trigger warning!) likely some slathering of mayo as Ames chats up the revolving door of entertainment and food personalities.
“Everyone can make a sandwich, and every sandwich has a story,” says Eric Gillin, Chief Brand Officer of Trusted Media Brands. “That’s why this is the first celebrity-driven YouTube original from Taste of Home. It’s relatable, real and hilarious.”
The biweekly show, which is now streaming, kicks off with an episode featuring Top Chef winner and now host/judge Kristen Kish making her version of the classic Italian sub. Future guests include Joel Kim Booster, Russell Dickerson and Aisha Tyler, with more to be announced at a later date.
A community-driven entertainment company that’s engaged more than 250 million globally across platforms, Trusted Media Brands’ platforms include Taste of Home, FailArmy, Family Handyman, People Are Awesome, Reader’s Digest, The Healthy, and The Pet Collective.
