The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County cast was unveiled on Wednesday, leaving the internet with two burning questions about the women: Are any of them Mormon, and do they even live in Orange County?
Hulu confirmed the first spinoff of the Emmy-nominated series at their second Get Real House event, where eight women were introduced to the world as official members of the SoCal-based #MomTok. News of the extension to the Mormon Wives franchise was not surprising to most as People previously reported that the series was in the works on March 23, with many of the names of the now-confirmed cast expected to join the show’s slate.
Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, McCall DaPron, Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo were listed as the main cast of SLOMW: OC in a release sent to press, though podcaster Bobbi Althoff was notably also present at Hulu’s Wednesday night event.
Most of the women are influencers; some have more limited showings on social media, whereas others have been revolving the digital landscape for years. But a key piece of the show’s name (specifically the “Mormon” and “Orange County” descriptors in Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County) has left the internet with questions for the cast.
“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County except none of them are Mormon and half of them don’t even live in Orange County,” an Instagram user commented on the series made after the cast debuted on Wednesday. (The Hollywood Reporter confirmed with Hulu The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County is not a working title.)
“But they aren’t Mormon??? Someone explain, I don’t understand,” another user commented. A separate user added, “I feel like none of these people are actually Mormon?!”
“I just don’t understand this?? Not Mormon, don’t live in OC. And most of them aren’t friends,” one fan wrote. “The reason SLOMW worked is because they were friends BEFORE the show filmed… this is just scrambling a bunch of influencers together.”
So who are The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County? And more importantly (to the internet, at least), are they actually Mormons that live in Orange County?

Aspyn Ovard
Aspyn Ovard is an influencer who first rose to acclaim on YouTube. She began regularly posting on the platform in 2012, where she eventually amassed a following for her family content. Ovard was previously married to Parker Ferris, whom she shares three children with, though she filed for divorce in 2024.
She grew up in Utah and explained on the Girls Camp podcast in 2025 that her father grew up Mormon, and that her family “went to church for the first little bit of my life.” However, she explained that it “doesn’t feel like it was a huge core piece of my upbringing.” Ovard has since moved to California, and does live in Orange County, per content from her socials.
In recent years, Ovard has popped up on episodes of the Utah-based Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and has also been open about her unconventional relationship dynamic. Ovard is dating a woman, Bri Davis, who is married to her husband, Billy.
Ovard was asked to discuss the “structure of [her] relationship” in March TikTok video, where she explained that the “structure of it is as ‘normal’ of a dynamic you can get, considering the fact that it is three people instead of two.”
“I don’t know any other lifestyle influencers that are in a type of relationship like this,” she added.
Ovard currently has two million followers on Instagram, 3.28 million subscribers on her now inactive YouTube channel and almost two million subscribers on her active YouTube page.

Avery Woods

She is also the host of the CHEERS! podcast, which hails from Alex Cooper’s Unwell, and is married to her husband, David, whom she shares two children with.
Woods hails from Arizona and recently moved to California in 2025, and said she is the “opposite of Mormon” on a 2023 episode of her podcast. Tabloids have reported that she resides in Calabasas.

Salomé Andrea
Image Credit: Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Salomé Andrea is the first new member of SoCal’s #MomTok that grew up in Mormonism like viewers would expect of the original Mormon Wives. She is married to Aaron Brimhall, though the status of their relationship is unclear. They share twin daughters.
With 1.6 million followers on TikTok, Andrea opened up about growing up Mormon on an episode of Woods’ podcast in 2023, though she noted she is not considered a “Utah Mormon.”
“I don’t like to come out and say I am not Mormon, because I have my own relationship with God, so does Aaron,” she said. “We don’t go [to church], we drink, we have tattoos, we do things that ‘we shouldn’t’ in the church. I still feel like I don’t need to say I’m not Mormon, because I have my own relationship with that and we do want our girls to grow up with some sort of religion and understanding of something bigger, so my mom takes them to church.”
Andrea has both Salt Lake City and Los Angeles listed in her TikTok bio.

McCall DaPron

DaPron lists Orange County as her home in her TikTok bio. Neeley has opened up about growing up in the SoCal location on the series and in her memoir, and they notably grew up in Coto de Caza, the neighborhood where The Real Housewives of Orange County originated.
DaPron has four children with her husband, Kirk, and they are Mormon. She has a little over 16,000 followers on TikTok, and over 18,000 followers on Instagram.

Chandler Higginson
Unlike some of her co-stars, Chandler Higginson does not have a large prominence on social media, with only roughly 4,500 followers on Instagram. She has three children.
Because she has not expressed her religious background online, it’s unclear if she is Mormon and if she’s based in Orange County. Higginson has been tagged in posts on Instagram with her upcoming co-star Ashleigh Pease from 2023, with her tie to the Mormon Wives group seemingly stemming from that friendship.

Ashleigh Pease
Ashleigh Pease is another Orange County cast member with a smaller social media following, currently sitting with almost 5,000 Instagram followers. She has four children, and has frequently posted with her fellow OC Mormon Wife Madison Bontempo on her socials. Like Higginson, she has not opened up about her religious beliefs online yet.

Madison Bontempo

A mother to five, she has almost two million followers on Instagram, but rose to prominence via her family YouTube channel, deemed The Fishfam, which has almost five million subscribers. She was featured in the documentary Born to Be Viral: The Real Lives of Kidfluencers.
Bontempo is Mormon, and she previously commented on the original Mormon Wives and how she wished the Hulu series “would show more of what our religion is,” per a February appearance on the Pretty Dirty podcast.
In 2024, Bontempo posted on Instagram that her family moved from Utah to California.

Bobbi Althoff

Althoff is the host of The Really Good Podcast; she rose to acclaim for her high profile interviews, most notably with Drake. She has a wide presence online, amassing almost four million followers on Instagram. She was married to Cory Althoff for four years, though she filed for divorce in 2026. They share two children. Althoff is now dating basketball player Tyler Hawkins.
Althoff is not known to be Mormon, though she previously said she grew up “very Christian.”
