Just in time for those cold Canadian summer nights, Heated Rivalrys iconic Team Canada fleece jacket is finally available to preorder.

The limited-edition jacket — inspired by the one worn by Hudson Williams’ character Shane Hollander in the queer hockey romance series — will be available for pre-order on June 3, Heated Rivalry producer Accent Aigu Entertainment and Province of Canada announced Wednesday morning. Fans immediately voiced their desire to own the jacket once the series aired. The final design details will be available on the pre-order date, according to a release.

The jacket will exclusively be available to purchase on the Province of Canada website and 10 percent of the net profits for the jacket will benefit You Can Play, a nonprofit that works to advance LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sport.

“We chose You Can Play because their unwavering dedication to inclusivity mirrors the very heart of Heated Rivalry,” the show’s creator and chief creative officer of Accent Aigu Entertainment Jacob Tierney and Accent Aigu Entertainment’s CEO Brendan Brady said in a release.

“Teamwork, respect and the courage to be yourself are values that You Can Play brings to life every day. We’re proud to support their work creating spaces where everyone truly belongs,” the statement continued.

Despite being worn by a fictional hockey player, the very real NHL and the National Hockey League Players’ Association will each match contributions for every jacket sale, up to $25,000 CAD per organization for a combined total of $50,000 CAD, according to a release. Those contributions will directly support You Can Play’s mission.

“Sport has the power to bring people together and partnerships like this show what’s possible when storytelling, community, and sport come together to support inclusion. We’re grateful to the Heated Rivalry team, Province of Canada, the NHL, and the NHLPA for standing with You Can Play and helping us continue the work of making hockey and sports everywhere a place where everyone belongs,” president and chair of You Can Play David Palumbo said in a release.

Unsurprisingly, the jacket was made in Canada with “thoughtfully curated materials from around the world” and was designed as a collector’s item in collaboration with the show’s costume designer Hanna Puley. There will be a limited amount of inventory and it will be available until supplies last.

Added Province of Canada co-founders Julie Brown and Jeremy Watt, ”We’ve taken the time to create a beautiful product that we believe the fans will appreciate. This has been a meaningful project for us to work on, and we’re proud to create it in Canada with a strong focus on sustainability, quality and care.”

Hailing from Canadian streamer Crave and airing on HBO Max in the U.S., the series centers on a fictional hockey universe based on popular romance books by Rachel Reid. Tierney created, wrote and directed the series.

Heated Rivalry focuses on two rival professional players — Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams) of the fictitious Montreal Metros and Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) of the fictitious Boston Raiders — as they navigate a near-decade-long situationship-turned-relationship. The show has made certified stars out of both Storrie and Williams.

In the months since the show’s premiere, the pair have presented at the Golden Globes, served as torchbearers in the 2026 Olympic Torch Relay, attended the Met Gala and each booked post-Heated Rivalry roles. THR previously reported that Storrie was in talks to join the ensemble cast of Molly Gordon and SNL writer Allie Levitan’s A24 comedy Peaked, which appears to have just recently wrapped filming.

Next up, Williams can be found starring alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid and Clark Backo in the half-hour Canadian drama Yaga. The series is based on the play by Kat Sandler and is a contemporary reimagining of the myth of Baba Yaga set in a coastal town.
