ACM Awards Announce Date for 2027 Show
Ethan Millman · 2026-06-26 · via The Hollywood Reporter

The Academy of Country Music Awards officially has a date for next year’s show, as the ACMs and Dick Clark Productions confirmed on Thursday that the show will return to Las Vegas on May 16, 2027.

The ACMs came back to Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for show’s 61st edition last month, marking the first time in three years Sin City hosted the event after the 2023 and 2024 shows took place in Frisco, Texas.

Shania Twain hosted this year’s show, and Ella Langley came home as the most-awarded artist of the night, winning a record seven ACMs. Cody Johnson won for entertainer of the year. Miranda Lamber and Stephen Wilson Jr. both came away with multiple wins as well.

Along with the new date, the ACMs and DCP shared some stats on this year’s event, stating that according to Greyhill Advisors, the show drove about $53 million in economic impact to the Las Vegas region. Visitor spending accounted for about $24.3 million, the companies said.

The organizations also shared Luminate data on streaming bumps following the show, with Ella Langley and Parker McCollum leading the pack as their streams jumped 10 percent and 14 percent respectively the day after the ceremony. The ACMs themselves had about 153 million video views across social media, DCP said, with social interactions growing 27 percent year over year.

Tickets for next year’s show will be available to purchase this fall.

Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Corporation, the same parent company of The Hollywood Reporter.
