It’s been a French Open of upsets. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka was knocked out in the quarterfinals; she has struggled on clay and grass, having yet to win at either Roland-Garros or Wimbledon. Likewise, No. 2 Elena Rybakina, No. 3 Iga Swiatek and No. 4 Coco Gauff were all knocked out before the quarter-finals. The women’s final leaves No. 8 Mirra Andreeva to face No.114 Maja Chwalinska, who is the first qualifier to reach the Roland Garros final.

The men’s side has been no less tumultuous. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner was knocked out of the competition in the second round, while No. 4 Novak Djokovic fell in the third. That leaves the No. 14-ranked Flavio Cobolli to face No. 3 Alexander Zverev in the final. It marks a major opportunity for the German, who has yet to win a Grand Slam title amid the dominance of the Sinner-Alcaraz rivalry.
The men’s and women’s singles will both air on TNT, which is available with a live TV streaming service. The finals will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
