Sans Strings Studio, maker of the popular Felt That: Boxing comedic boxing game, has signed with Creative Artists Agency for representation.

The entertainment and gaming studio is looking to get deeper into original IP after launching at Summer Game Fest the popular game where furry puppets fight with fury. With multiple projects in development, Sans Strings will look to the Hollywood talent agency to advance in gaming, film, TV and licensing as it also build out its industry and brand partnerships.

With CAA, we feel ready for the next chapter,” Sans Strings co-founder and CEO Sebastien Deguy said in a statement.

Besides Deguy, the entertainment and game studio is led by co-founder and CCO Ryan Corniel, COO Andrew Sommerville and a creative team that includes Colin Benoit, Natt Tapley and Joel Veitch.

For Felt That: Boxing — which centers on Ezra “Fuzzy” E” Wright, a furry hero battling through the Tournament of a Million Punches to save a puppet orphanage from demolition — Sans Strings used unreal engine 5 to create a puppeteering pipeline as it looks to advance the future of transmedia storytelling, or worlds created for interactive, linear and live action formats.

The studio also uses what it calls “F.E.L.T. (Fuzz-E Logic Toolset)” for real-time animation and game development. “Sans Strings is a rare team that is games-native and tech-proficient, but with a storyteller’s instinct for IP that travels. We’re excited to partner with them as they expand their original worlds across interactive, linear, and live experiences,” Derek Douglas, head of games at CAA, added in his own statement.

Original properties in production at Sans Strings, while still under wraps, are understood to span TV, streaming and interactive formats for multiple platform exploitation. The game development studio is also catching the attention of investors, having recently completed a seed financing round led by venture firm  Red River West and with participation from 16z speedrun, Sisu Game Ventures and Kima Ventures, along with angel investors.
