After a delay for unrelated reasons, I'm back trying to release 2.92.
I've incorporated a few low-risk patches that have accumulated during the hiatus, and tagged 2.92rc1.
Please could people test that? In the absence of good reasons not to, I intend to release it as 2.92 pretty soon and get on with the backlog of new stuff.
