Washington — Tulsi Gabbard is resigning as the director of national intelligence after her husband was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, her chief of staff said Friday.
Alexa Henning, her chief, said Gabbard would step aside on June 30.
Her resignation was first reported by Fox News.
