Apple’s thinnest iPhone, the Air, is now selling for VND23 million, down VND9 million (US$340) from its launch price in late 2025 and VND1 million lower than last month.
The 512GB model is cheaper by VND9.5 million at VND29 million, and the 1TB version by VND10.5 million at VND34.5 million.
Among Apple’s 2025 iPhone lineup, the Air has seen the steepest price decline.
Apple’s thinnest offering was launched in Vietnam at a starting price of VND32 million.
Van Thi Ngoc Yen, deputy director of product categories at Di Dong Viet, told Dan Tri newspaper that the lower pricing helps the device appeal to buyers comparing iPhones in the same segment, but added she expects this to be temporary.
At its current price, the Air is competing directly with the 17, retailers said.

The 17 is currently being sold for VND24.5 million for the 256GB version, but retailers said it nevertheless continues to outsell the Air.
A spokesperson for retailer Hoang Ha Mobile said 17 sales are around 20% higher.
The Air is the only iPhone released last year with a titanium body, and is powered by Apple’s A19 Pro chip, the same processor used in the 17 Pro lineup.
The chip features a six-core CPU and five-core GPU, delivering performance comparable to some MacBook Pro models.
But the phone has only a single rear camera, giving it image quality only slightly better than the budget 16e and weaker than the standard 17, which comes with a dual-camera system.
