Exports — like flossing and good password hygiene — is boring to discuss (and build, sometimes) but nonetheless important. Whether you are periodically exporting your newsletter data to a spreadsheet or you are using it to build a custom dashboard, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your data out of Buttondown.

To that end, we've spiffed up the export dialog a bit: you can now filter out certain columns, export to JSON (rather than just CSV), and preview the export before downloading it.
