There’s no shortage of exceptional mixology experiences to elevate your weekend in Hong Kong. Stop by Jordan rooftop hotspot Terrible Baby, where Cambodian gem Sora from Rosewood Phnom Penh is taking over, or sneak a peek at Bangkok bar Sundry’s upcoming menu at Friday After Class. Alternatively, head to Alibi to savour an immersive, literary-inspired cocktail journey curated by Madara’s Rayven Leung.

Terrible Baby is welcoming Sora from Rosewood Phnom Penh for a one-night-only takeover. Last year, Sora became the first bar in Cambodia to crack Asia’s 50 Best Bars’ 51-100 list – appearing at No 65 – while also winning the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award. The bar is known for marrying Japanese aesthetic precision with local Cambodian produce.
Led by director of bars Jonas Vittur, the pop-up will showcase sophisticated pours that incorporate distinctive regional staples. The Hokusai blends Widges London dry gin, celebrated Kampot pepper and aromatic kaffir lime leaf with genmaicha and umami notes of seaweed, while the Cherry Lady Punch combines cherry (blossom, wine and reduction), Tried & True vodka, dark chocolate, cashew and yogurt.
Where: 4/F, Eaton HK, 380 Nathan Road, Jordan
When: 7pm till sold out

Is it a coincidence or a deliberate strategy that Friday After Class has a special takeover happening this Friday night? Whatever the answer, Hong Kong’s cocktail connoisseurs can look forward to a taste of Bangkok courtesy of Silom-Sathon neighbourhood bar Sundry.
