The second season of Netflix’s sports comedy series Running Point, which is executive-produced by Mindy Kaling and Kate Hudson, is the talk of the town. The show stars Hudson as Isla Gordon, who takes over the presidency of the Los Angeles Waves, a professional basketball team owned by her father, after her older brother, Cam (Justin Theroux), the former president, steps down due to a drug scandal.
The socialite has always had a knack for the sport, but was overlooked in favour of her brothers. Besides Cam, the eldest Gordon sibling, the family includes Isla’s other older brother Ness (played by Scott MacArthur), and her younger half-brothers Sandy Gordon (Drew Tarver) and Jackie Moreno (Fabrizio Guido). Sandy is the LA Waves’ chief financial officer, who is romantically involved with the team’s new player Tommy White (Jake Picking) in season two.
Here’s everything you need to know about Drew Tarver.

Tarver was born on May 6, 1986, in Glennville, Georgia. He grew up in a supportive family, with parents who owned a candy factory, two younger sisters Amanda and Katelyn, and a younger brother Jake, per Vulture. Katelyn Tarver ventured into the entertainment industry at a young age through the American Idol spin-off show American Juniors and later rose to fame playing Jo Taylor in Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush.
Drew Tarver came out as bisexual when he was 26. “When you’re starting to figure it out in a small town, it’s definitely tough,” he told Vulture, but admitted that he “didn’t have it that bad”.
