Amazon Prime Video’s latest series, Every Year After, may be exactly what fans of the hit show The Summer I Turned Pretty need while they eagerly await the latter’s movie adaptation to release in 2027.

The new show, adapted from author Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel Every Summer After, follows Persephone “Percy” Fraser, played by actress Sadie Soverall, who spends every summer at her family cottage in Barry’s Bay, a small town in Canada, with her best friends, brothers Sam and Charlie Florek (Matt Cornett and Michael Bradway). The eight-episode show follows Percy’s romance with Sam, the younger Florek brother, which – spoilers ahead – is interrupted by a betrayal that involves Charles.

Bradway was born in December 1998 in Staten Island, New York. He grew up in Florida and entered the entertainment industry as a model – he became intrigued by the business when his twin sister was approached by a talent manager at a local mall one day, per the New York Film Academy website. As a model, Bradway has starred in campaigns for brands like Champion, Verizon, Brightline Train and more.

It wasn’t until Bradway starred in his high school’s production of Fiddler on the Roof that he fell in love with acting, per NYFA. He went on to study acting for film at the New York Film Academy’s South Beach campus.
