Hong Kong will celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday and if you’re looking for something more than top-class Mother’s Day menus, here are five more things you can do with mum or other family and friends this weekend.
From an artisan Mother’s Day market to classic theatre performances, a multisensory music and food event, and a fashion showcase to raise awareness of lupus, you’re sure to find something that appeals.

The Musician’s Table is a multisensory event exploring the fascinating intersection of classical music, literature and gastronomy.
Centred on the legacy of Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, the evening delves into how the masterpiece inspired Leo Tolstoy’s intense novella of the same name and Leos Janacek’s later musical works.
To fully immerse guests in the theme, the experience includes a tasting menu featuring flavours from Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic – the homelands of the featured masters.
Hosted by guest chef and musician Erikson Ting and the Zeit Ensemble, the programme features live performances and discussions about the music piece with the award-winning Arete Quartet.
