I’d like to apologize to everyone in Nekoweb for spamming my art. Honestly just speed running through all my wips. Took a good look at our syllabus and realize my ass will not have any free time to draw once school starts again.

I’d like to apologize to everyone in Nekoweb for spamming my art. Honestly just speed running through all my wips. Took a good look at our syllabus and realize my ass will not have any free time to draw once school starts again.
Okay, so you may noticed that the RSS feed widget at the bottom of my index page has been removed. Got tired of decided whether or not something I’ve updated is “worthy” enough to get broadcasted. The current RSS feed automatically gets all my blog post and art. So, hello to the people reading this through their reader right now! Currently want to edit exclusively through obsidian and use VSCode as little as possible.

Saw this documentary then went to binge watched the first three Toy Story movies yesterday, it was so much better than I remember it to be. So many thrilling segments and silly gags. Absolutely adore their commitment to the perfect the imperfection.
Will make a Toy Story album eventually. All the concept art is so pretty. Kinda worried about the upcoming 5th film. Depending on the direction they’re taking, this go from a honest depiction of the struggle parents face with their kids losing their childhood to technology or a an out of touch “hahah technology bad” boomer jab at gen alphas.
Past few weeks has been spent doing nothing but working on my laptop. My eyes are hurting, head spinning, I’m beginning to doubt whether this is the path I want in my life. Maybe I’m just really craving for cake. Maybe I should take a break and paint something.
Was really hesitant to switch to Giscus because I was certain not many Neocities users would have a github account. So I anticipated of the possibility of getting not getting any comments at all. You can imagine the pleasant surprise from when my expectations were exceed. Thank you for your lovely messages :]
Not to microblog in my own miroblog, but lately been bombarded with school work. My inability of focusing at one task at a time is really screwing me over. Trying to practice the Pomodoro Technique but then I get so guilty about the small breaks and how little got done during the working period. This situation has been made exponentially worst by the release of the new Tomodachi Life. Everyone is playing it while I am left seething and getting nothing done. Everyone must stop posting their miis until I get my shit together!!!!! /j

Doodling some cartoons I was watching at the time
School project requires me to paint with coffee. Scanning this just in case I fuck up. The image on the left is what Im going to submit but it lowkey gives vibes of that one schizo japanese comic artist who makes anti-sematic comics with his geometric chibi art style, ifykyk. The sketch on the right is for me to test before I fully commit to it lol.

My friend accidently paired Jay with Frisk in my Tomodachi Life. Seeing him be being lovey dovey and pisses me off so much. He’s supposed to perpetually annoyed and miserable with August!! Might finally be assed to download that one gay mod sighhh

Suppose Pete has been Micky’s #1 hater since day one but he works best when his pitted against Goofy. They honestly have a really fun dynamic. Pete’s strictness and pessimism against Goofy’s laid back and unwaivering love for the world.
Goofy doesn’t even fight back. Any rude remark and unnecessarily ruthless acts gets brushed off. The most you’ll get is Goofy making small vague comments. It isn’t because Goofy lack self-awareness; He is fully aware of his incompetence. He just values the joy of others above being perceived well.
This is most clearest when he’s with his son Max, who is a lot more quick-witted and apprehensive than his father. Goofy tries his absolute darndest to maintain Max’s wonder and happiness. It’s also really cute how Max mirrors the stuff Goofy does to make him feel better. Just the fact he’d learned to adjust to Goof’s goofs is really sweet. Goofy related media has no right to make me this emotional. What the actual fuck.
Currently going through the Disney Christmas specials and just realizing how much of these I’ve already watched as a kid. They’ve been secretly living in-between the cracks of my brain. Also might make a blog post talking about my headcannons for Mickey and the rest of the cast.

oough thank you for reminding me of these movies and specials. I swear the goofy movies are responsible for whatever affection I have for the house of mouse. These movies do such a good job of portraying a father son relationship and despite the emotional heights it never feels overly saccharine or unearned. I love them!
It makes me really happy to see someone else who enjoys this film :D

Henlo decided to make a separate blog from the one in my main website. This one will be a lot more self-indulgent and rambly. Getting into Donald Duck content might genuinely be the worst thing to happen to me. At least with turbo, there’s a limit to the amount of concept art and official content I can scour through. Unlike with Donald Duck where there’s literally 90 years worth of content to sift through. There’s all the classic shorts, foreign comics, shit ton of westaboo art, obscure production lore, and so so much more. One day my laptop will explode from my digital hording habits.

Thinking about re-watching Ducktales and everything Donald Duck related (within reason). He is literally the biggest hater in the world and I love him so much for it.
UPDATE: After watching a shit ton of other Donald Duck content, just would like to say that, as much as I love Ducktales, they really wet-dogified him there. Like damn I know you thought your sister died and all but man the fuck up!!! Okay genuinely though, his characterization is so night and day.
Made a mirror of my website on nekoweb for the hell of it. Can we get a yip yip hooray for github actions please!!! I just really love the userboxes and the global rss feed feature. The art gallery just redirects here though because it takes too much space and goes over the 500mb limit.
UPDATE: converted my art to jpgs instead and my website is now below 500mb. I know webp are better for compression and supports transparency, but I refuse to use it in the basis of how little support it has. You’d think after a decade an a half everyday programs will stop freaking out over a webp file???

If I had a nickle for everytime someone stole the code for my about page. It really isn’t much but I find it incredibly amusing. For the sake of clarification, I have no problem with people stealing my code! I’m just a little baffled by it since my about pages tend to incredibly minimal. Also they are generally held together with sticks and glue.
I need to draw more, I need to finish writing that thing, I need to lessen my screen time, I need to brush up my algebra, I need to get back into piano, I need to pick up a game engine, I need to do my org work, I need to–
I’ve recently developed a horrible habit of scrolling through facebook marketplace. I’m not even looking for anything in particular. I just find the badly lit photographs of random object incredibly entertaining. Occasionally you’ll stumble across someone angrily posting the headshot of a person they claim to be scammer.
Since the day I got my anbernic, I’ve been wanting to open up the back panel to add a print out. Unfortunately I’m too much of a coward so I opted to print and laminate a sticker to add to the outside of the case instead. I think it turned out really cute regardless.
UPDATE: Recently obtain a 3ds!! Mostly been playing Tomodachi Life and doodling in Colors! 3D. Still really surreal to actually use it…
