What is World Cup Map?

A live map showing how fans from every nation are predicting the 2026 World Cup. No account needed, just pick and submit.

How do the map colours work?

Each country is coloured by the team its fans back most to win the tournament. Each country takes the colour of whichever team has the most picks from that nation.

How is match accuracy calculated?

After each match result is confirmed, every prediction is scored. The accuracy leaderboard shows which nations are best at calling results.

Privacy & data

No accounts. No ads. No third-party trackers. Here's everything we store:

• Functional cookies - your country, your tournament pick, and the date you last voted. Used to remember your selections between rounds. Expire after 60 days.
• Hashed IP address - your IP is one-way hashed (SHA-256) on submission to prevent duplicate votes from the same network. The raw IP is never stored.
• Browser fingerprint - a one-way hash of your browser's signature, used only to identify your prediction history so you can see your own accuracy stats. Not used for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.
• Country aggregate - your prediction is stored against your country (e.g. "Nigeria") so the map can show what each country thinks. No individual is identifiable.

The dots on the map are population-weighted estimates, not real locations. Cloudflare provides bot protection (Turnstile) which may set its own cookies during the challenge.
